Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) Exam Dates and Notifications

Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) is an entrance exam conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) for getting admissions different undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by all the affiliated institutes in the State of Himachal Pradesh.

Application for HPCET

• The interested students are required to HPCET Exam through online only.
• The students have to fill the online application with all details and with no mistakes.
• The students have to pay the application fee through online using Credit/Debit Cards or Net Banking.
• The students can download their admit cards by logging into their accounts using the username and password that is received on their registered email Ids and registered Mobile Numbers.
• The students have to attend the online HPCET exam in the designated exam centres mentioned on their admit cards.

Exam Pattern

The HPCET is the Paper Based Test (PBT) Offline Exam for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses conducted by HPTU. The exam consists of 150 MCQ questions each carrying 2-marks. The total exam time is 180 minutes or 3-hours.

Note: There is Negative Marking for the Wrong Answers. (0.5) marks are deducted for the wrong responses. Please answer carefully

• 10th/SSLC Marks Card – Original + 2 sets of photocopies
• 11th / I PUC Marks Card – Original + 2 sets of photocopies
• 12th/PUC Marks Card – Original + 2 sets of photocopies
• Degree Marks Card- Original + 2 sets of Photocopies
• Degree Passing Certificate
• Transfer Certificate with caste/category mentioned – Original + 2 sets of photocopies
• Conduct Certificate- Original + 2 sets of Photocopy
• Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC Candidates (For Karnataka students only)
• Photographs – 6 passport +4 stamp size
• Migration Certificate – Original + 2 sets of Photocopy
