Jyoti Nivas College

Jyoti Nivas College was founded by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes in 1966 and is affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by AICTE. The college retains a steadfast commitment to a single central ideal- the provision of a balanced and holistic education for women. With a primary focus on quality education in the liberal Arts, Science & Commerce, the college also promotes and makes available myriad resources and opportunities to ensure that its students emerge as intellectually enlightened, morally upright, spiritually inspired, emotionally balanced and socially committed young women. 

Ranking 

• The college received Autonomous status and was recognized as a college with potential for excellence by UGC in 2005.
• In 2012, the college was awarded the ‘A’ grade by the NAAC and received the title 'College of Excellence' by UGC in 2014.
• The college was the only college in Bangalore to be selected for a 5-crore rupee grant in Project 12 of the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) initiated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

          Jyoti Nivas College along with its academic excellence aims to provide career guidance and placements for all streams of students at the under-graduate and post-graduate levels. Eligibility for MBA admission

• Candidates applying in the MBA course must have passed graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Students appearing for final year examination of their Bachelor’s program may also apply for the MBA program.
• Candidates who have possessed valid CAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA scores are eligible for admission.
