BGS Institute of Technology (BGSIT) is one of the premier institutions run by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust(R) which was established in 2005.

• The Institutions belongs to BGS Group of Technical Institutions which also consists of SJC Institute of Technology(1986) and Adichunchunagiri Institute of Technology (1980) under them.
• BGSIT is approved by All Council for Technical Education (AICTE)and affiliated by Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU) and also recognized by Government of Karnataka.

Placements

  A separate full fledged Training & Placement cell is established in the Institute.

• The Placement cell acts as a linker for the Industrial Training and Placement of students. and also establishes contacts with industrial houses to arrange training for students.
• The Training & Placement Cell conducts Aptitude, Foundations, Quantitative, Reasoning, Verbal, Mathematical Ability, Language Skills,Technical Skills, & Mock Tests, for students to prepare them for aptitude tests and help them clear the first round of the corporate recruitment process successfully and move to next round of GD / Interviews

Eligibility for MBA admission

• Aspirants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
• A minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in subjects altogether is required.
