What are the minimum eligibility criteria for MBA admission?

In the two main universities in Bangalore, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and Bangalore University, the eligibility is 50% marks in the qualifying university degree. There are some colleges under other universities having eligibility criteria 40% also. In case of many top ranking colleges the eligibility is the same. But there is an additional requirement of a cut off percentage of marks that varies in different colleges. The cut of can be as high as 80% or 90 % in some top ranking colleges.
